How to measure a change
Define a scheduling error before starting. For example, track double bookings, visits assigned to unavailable Staff or visits using an outdated time. Count affected appointments and total appointments over comparable periods. Record changes in team size, workload and operating process that could affect the result.
Calculate the error rate as affected appointments divided by total appointments. Compare rates as well as raw counts, and retain the underlying records. Only describe an improvement as a customer result when the data, time period and permission to publish are available.
